Switching From Mailchimp to Flodesk

I am not a tech-savvy person, so e-mail marketing has always felt out of reach for me. Switching to Flodesk from Mailchimp has been one of the best decisions I have made for my business and how I market it! If you own a business, use e-mail marketing, or have wanted to start an e-mail list, Flodesk is the right choice!

After about a year of starting my business, I realized that I needed some help doing the techy things it takes to run a business and to stay relevant. Luckily for me, an Instagram friend of mine was starting her own business as a virtual assistant.

I was not learning how to do any of these things on my own. So, toward the end of 2019, I made the decision to learn to do all the things, meaning I was not going to need Andrea’s services anymore. It is ok, though, she had been working on her real estate license and is building a new career in that arena! (Sidebar…keep being a fan for people, even when they are not directly in your life anymore. There is room for all of us to win, and we need to be cheering each other on, even when seasons of life change!)

Before Andrea and i were done working together, I had sent her a link to Flodesk and asked her if she thought it would be a good switch. I had been using Mailchimp and it seemed so overwhelming to me…and, also, not pretty. She said she had been hearing good things about it and that it was an attractive platform to use!
